Corporate compliance is quickly becoming a mandatory administrative function for every healthcare entity. A good program requires a team effort from staff, management, legal and consulting support. At Healthcare Consulting Services, LLC (HCS), we have the expertise and experience in specific technical areas to support your compliance program as it relates to your business office. We understand that the program needs to be effective and should be developed in a cost effective and timely manner. We also believe that we can assist organizations in establishing an effective and affordable compliance program that meets governmental requirements and improves the organization’s adherence to federal regulations.

An effective corporate compliance program is a comprehensive program designed to actively identify problematic areas, provide a foundation to address complicated regulatory issues and prevent, detect and resolve instances of non-compliance with regulations. A viable program will demonstrate to the government that the organization has tried, in good faith, to comply with complex regulations and may be used to rebut allegations of fraud and abuse under the False Claims Act.

Having a corporate compliance program has become necessary for every organization doing business with Medicare. Not only are programs required in many of the negotiated settlements, but effective programs are viewed by the courts as evidence of your intent to comply and may trigger lower fines and penalties if a violation occurs.

Our services are designed to help organizations identify existing problematic areas in your business office as well as to recommend corrective actions. Services are tailored to the specific needs of the organization. Our primary goal is to support your organization’s compliance team.

The objective of a risk assessment is to identify for you potential billing compliance and internal control issues related to areas of risk addressed by the OIG focusing on "HOT" issues and set in motion a plan of action to successfully implement appropriate controls to minimize organizational risk. This process is completed as a one-to-two day on-site review of systems. The results of this review will be the basis for your corporate compliance policy and procedures as it relates to the business office.

HCS has a well-deserved reputation for attentive, timely client service. We are extremely proud of the client satisfaction we generate and our reputation in the healthcare industry.
